Cultural Safaris

Cultural programmes mean visiting tribal communities in rural areas. Some of the notable tribes of Tanzania within easy travel distance of our Arusha office are the pastoral Maasai and Barabaig, the athletic Iraqw of Mbulu highlands, and the agricultural Bantu tribes like the Chagga, Meru and Shambaa on the slopes of the mountains. Trekking Adventure

Rather than travelling in 4x4 vehicles, many visitors like to trek through the beautiful scenery. We can offer both mountain climbs and gentler treks through the amzaingly varied country from the dry sandy moonscape and alkali lake Eyasi to the typical african savannah, to lush banana and coffee fields around Arusha and Lushoto. Mountain climbs include the trek up Kilimanjiro which takes five or six days. Alternatively Mt. Meru, Oldonyo Lengai and Mt Hanang provide shorter climbing expeditions.
