COMPACT SAFARI - 5 Days This is a short itinerary aimed for clients who have other destinations. The safari takes five days but gives a full perception of our wildlife and tribal cultures. It is a suitable addition to a long trek on mainland Tanzania or to a beach holiday at the coast. It also serves well the traveller who is crossing Tanzania en route to another destination, or the delegate who has finished a conference in Arusha and needs to see the other side of the country before flying back home	Two village visits Wildlife at Ngorongoro crater	US$ 680 per person in a group of 6 US$ 730 per person in a group of 4 US$ 850 per person in a group of 2

Day 1 Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and meet a tour guide who transfers you to a lodge in Arusha town. (Alternatively, clients can use Jomo Kenyatta Airport in Nairobi in which case, they are transferred to Arusha by a shuttle bus).

Day 2 Depart for the little village of Mto wa Mbu beside Lake Manyara to spend the day with the farmers of the area. Optional to stop at Meserani snake park on the way. Visit the Maasai Kraals of Losirwa in the evening. Remain in Mto wa Mbu for overnight.

Day 3 Wake up early and dash to Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a crater game tour. Leave the crater late in the afternoon and proceed on to the Mbulu highlands to spend the day with the Iraqw tribesmen.

Day 4 Drive or walk into the villages of Mbulu to experience the mixed farming methods of the tribe. Leave Mbulu in the afternoon and drive down the highlands heading to Tarangire National park for overnight.

Day 5 Go for a game drive in the morning. Return to the lodge for a late lunch. Get out of the park and head to Arusha. Either connect to the airport for an evening flight, or join a supplement programme.
